I started wheel throwing in early high-school and as a “hands-on creativity” person, I was quickly hooked. The technique reminded me of cake decorating, requiring equal parts skill, artistry, and structural design.
I’ve recently picked up the art again and am slowly but surely working up towards my high-school skill level- not easy since life doesn’t include a daily study hall where I can sneak into the art studio : )
